Digital oils using Painter X and a WACOM tablet. A fairly quick painting of the Bow River near Banff, Canada. Two summers ago I was in Calgary and managed to take a drive out to Banff. Unfortunately, I was feeling a bit sick at the time, so I didn’t get to do much hiking, but I was glad I got to see what I could. The water of the Bow River was an unbelievably blue/green color (due to the glacial runoff).

I've been to Banff twice in my life so far, one of the times was for my honeymoon

Beautiful place! And I hope I get the chance to go back to it again sometime

I've been to Banff! Beautiful place. They have a wolf reserve close by near Golden too.

No, not near Banff. I live outside of DC. I've only been to that part of Canada once. It would be nice to go back again and actually spend some time hiking, but thats unlikely - lots of other new places to go first.
