This is the full Gala-theme picture referenced in the previous Scootaloo post. As it happened, I thought Scootaloo’s image could be its own post even though the original intent was a fully integrated picture (I have a separate RD dress image in my scraps for those interested). All of the characters in this image are vectorizations (is that a word?) of character shots from the MLP TV series (Suited for Success, Show Stoppers and May the Best Pet Win for Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo and Tank, respectively) with some modifications in the case of Scootaloo’s dress (mostly original) and Tank’s accessories. The background is based off of outdoor shots from the Best Night Ever.

Admittedly, this is rather odd fan art for me, as it isn’t particularly original. I plan to produce less TV-based images in the future, but wanted some practice using vector programs, first. Plus, this was an excuse to draw Dashie with what is (seemingly) the closest thing to her family (well, not really, but I can always wish for some more bonding/char dev in S3).
