Fall Weather Friends

Pencil and vector “sketch” colored in Painter X using digital oils and a WACOM tablet. The background coloring/lighting was heavily influenced by my earlier fall landscape painting.

I don’t always ship ponies, but when I do, it’s Appledash – I’m kidding. But the scene at the end of Fall Weather Friends really was sweet and I’ve wanted to draw Dash and Applejack running through the woods for some time.
