Pencil sketch colored with Paint Tool SAI using a WACOM tablet (each panel was colored individually and slight style/color choice differences are evident). Berry Punch making wine. I hesitate to call this a comic, but I suppose it is sequential art. Despite the apparent flood of Berry Punch art, she isn’t my favorite background pony, but I do like wine and thought it would be nice to feature her in a few more…tasteful situations. If nothing else, as an Oenophile, I can sympathize.

A few notes: The first panel was not originally part of this series. It was, instead, a digital recolor of a real media (marker) picture I did as practice using SAI for the first time. However, since it fit with the theme, I decided to include it. The second panel has already been posted as its own deviation – I liked how it turned out – although I flipped the orientation to better match the image flow. RD looks like a bit of a creeper in the 3rd panel, but also cute.

Nicely done! Nice to see a little variation on the character of Berry Punch.

True Fact: Berry Punch was white as a filly, but years of going to her grandfather's vineyard (and her inevitable 'addiction' [for lack of a better word]) not only stained her coat a pale crimson but, lead to her less than natural color as she grew older and continued to enjoy grapes, raisins, and other off-shoots and by products

her cutie mark is actually two-fold: she is not only good at making grape products she is also good at judging them, being able to tell the slightest imperfection not in just the grapes themselves but in the containers they were stored in AND shipped in. often making it impossible for her to enjoy dishes and drinks not made by her hooves.
