3”x4” Pencil sketch colored with Painter Classic. This was supposed to be just one panel in a 2 page comic for Captain JLS’ Roboblog comic contest, but considering how long this one panel took, I’m not so sure I’ll actually finish even one page. Painter Classic is probably not the best choice for coloring a comic, but I wanted something artsy and Photoshop wasn’t working at the moment anyway. Since I’m pretty happy with the result (I usually don’t do digital art), I thought I would share.

This scene takes place about a decade after the Invid invasion of Earth (about 2042). An Invid scout flies high above a crashed Zentradi ship (one of thousands that still litter the surface of the Earth) surrounded by humble farms.
